Job summary

Beehive Industries is seeking a Senior Engineer, Design & Modeling- Harness, to lead electrical harness design for aerospace systems at our Centennial, CO facility. You will drive concept-to-production harness developments, create 3D routing models, wiring diagrams, and documentation, and collaborate with multiple teams to ensure robust, manufacturable solutions.

Applicants should have a strong CAD background, experience with production harness models, and the ability to mentor junior engineers

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or related field.
• Minimum typically 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree (or 3+ years with a Master’s).
• Experience designing electrical harnesses for aerospace/defense environments.
• Proficiency with CAD and routing tools; capable of producing production-ready drawings.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of electrical harnesses from concept through production.
• Create 3D routing models, 2D drawings, wiring diagrams and pinout documentation.
• Own harness routing designs and flattened harness drawings using CAD tools.
• Define components (connectors, cables, wires, shielding) per requirements.
• Maintain interface control drawings, ECOs, and lifecycle records.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical challenges and support reviews.
• Analyze manufacturability, reliability, and system integration for harness designs.
• Provide guidance to junior engineers and mentor teammates.
