United States Digital Space LLC is developing Starmind, a constellation-powered platform enabling AI compute in space. We seek a Sr. Electrical Hardware Engineer to own the full hardware lifecycle for high‑reliability satellite electronics, from concept through flight.

The role requires 5+ years in circuit design, familiarity with mixed-signal systems, and experience in aerospace environments; Python and C/C++ skills are essential. Travel may be required as needed for mission deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical or related field required.
• 5+ years of industry experience with circuit/hardware design.
• Strong knowledge of mixed-signal design and space-grade electronics.

Responsibilities

• Rapidly develop high‑reliability electronics for satellites and spacecraft.
• Drive system trades, requirements capture, component selection, analysis, schematic capture, PCB layout, prototyping, hardware bring‑up, debugging, documentation, testing, and on‑orbit performance.
• Collaborate with mechanical, thermal, software, test engineering, and supply chain teams to deliver integrated hardware.
• Support hardware through production, satellite integration, and flight operations.
• Open to learning from mistakes and challenging assumptions to improve designs.
