Humble Robotics in San Francisco seeks an experienced hardware engineer to own the electrical design of next-gen hardware modules. You will prototype, validate, and transition designs to robust hardware for autonomous, zero-emissions haulers.

You will lead schematic capture, layout, and bring-up, ensuring power integrity, EMI control, and automotive-grade robustness while collaborating with firmware and systems teams on end-to-end validation.

Qualifikationen

• BS/MS in Electrical, Computer or Mechatronics Engineering (or equivalent).
• 5+ years hardware engineering experience with shipped PCB designs.
• Strong power design fundamentals (regs, transients, protection).
• Comfort with mixed-signal + digital design tradeoffs.
• Strong debugging skills and lab proficiency.
• Expert in Altium Designer; able to lead layout reviews.

Aufgaben

• Own PCB design from architecture to release: power tree, high-speed interfaces, protection, grounding.
• Prototype bring-up and debug: power-on, instrument, isolate and resolve issues across power integrity, signal integrity, EMI.
• Design for automotive robustness: ESD, transients, fault containment, harness considerations, EMC and safety aspects.
