Job summary

Chemelex is seeking an Electrical General Foreman to lead electrical labor on a construction site and report to the superintendent. You will interpret blueprints and wiring diagrams, install conduit per NEC, and ensure adherence to electrical/maintenance practices.

The role requires coordinating journeymen and helpers, maintaining time-entry accuracy, and complying with safety rules on site. The position involves working in manufacturing environments, potential high voltage work, and travel to

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and wiring diagrams.
• Must be able to work around high voltage energized equipment and install NEC-based conduit systems.
• Knowledge of industrial electricity issues; safety rules and PPE requirements.
• Ability to work independently, as well as in teams, with strong written and verbal communication.
• Willingness to travel to job sites nationwide (approximately 90%).

Responsibilities

• Follow all electrical/maintenance practices and safety rules.
