Job summary

Chemelex is seeking an experienced electrician to perform electrical labor on construction sites across the United States. You will read blueprints, install conduit, and work around high voltage equipment under general supervision.

The role requires a journeyman or equivalent license, 4+ years of manufacturing or industrial experience, and willingness to travel up to 90%. You must comply with safety rules, communicate effectively with management and teammates, and operate in fast-paced

Qualifications

• Minimum of a High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
• NCCER certifications preferred but not required.
• Journeyman or Master Electrician license (any state) required.
• 4+ years experience in manufacturing or industrial facilities.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, specifications and wiring diagrams; apply electrical theory to practical applications.
• Work on and around high voltage energized equipment; install electrical conduit systems per NEC.
• Follow all unit electrical/maintenance practices.
• Work in manufacturing environments, climbing stairs/catwalks in extreme temperatures.
• Rotate shifts, including weekends and holidays as required.
• Observe safety rules and wear PPE.
• Read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures.
• Supervise and coordinate journeymen and helpers.
• Responsible for time entry sheets.
