Job summary

Canadian Breaks Consulting, LLC seeks an Electrical Field Superintendent to manage the field execution on large mission critical projects, embedded in the client PMO. The role demands leading multiple subcontractors, coordinating scheduling, quality, and QA/QC on hi-tech facilities.

Ideal candidates have 6+ years of direct field supervision experience, strong communication skills, and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. The position is on-site at major projects.

Qualifications

• Thorough understanding of low voltage electrical construction.
• Experience on large industrial or high-tech fabrication projects.
• Familiar with low voltage distribution, UPS equipment, and cleanroom installations.
• Experience with CSI specification system for construction.
• Proficient in Windows and Office 365; basic network understanding.
• Experience with Prolog, Procore, E-Builder, Bluebeam, MS Project, and Primavera P6.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Revit and Navisworks.
• Training in design/construction document reading and survey techniques.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day activities with other superintendents and subcontractors.
• Supervise multiple subcontractors and craft employees.
• Maintain and adjust project schedule daily.
• Manage RFIs and submittal materials for client/architect review.
• Enforce safety protocols across the site.
• Provide solutions to design and constructability issues.
• Respond to client requests and resolve problems using technical expertise.
• Interpret and implement installations per codes and site specs.
• Support cost estimates with field conditions and scope data.
• Facilitate contractor activity to ensure contractual performance.
• Assist with managing project staffing.
• Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
