Job summary

Helix Electric is seeking an experienced Superintendent (Electrical) to lead day-to-day field operations on assigned projects in Goodyear, AZ. You will supervise journeymen and apprentices, drive production to meet schedules and budgets, and ensure NEC/code and project specifications are met with a strong safety focus.

You will coordinate with the GC, trade partners, and internal teams, manage materials and equipment, and lead inspections, testing, and commissioning activities while maintaining

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in the electrical trade with progressive field leadership.
• Active state journeyman or master electrician license in the state of hire.
• Demonstrated experience delivering commercial/industrial electrical projects on schedule and within budget.
• Strong knowledge of NEC and NFPA 70E safe work practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead field installations to meet project schedule, budget, and quality targets.
• Supervise and develop field personnel; set expectations and provide feedback.
• Manage staffing projections and weekly updates.
• Coordinate trade partner activities to align with schedule and site logistics.
• Oversee material, equipment, and prefabrication planning and procurement needs.
• Complete field documentation (daily reports, JHAs/AHAs, test records, timesheets).
• Ensure safety standards; promote and conduct toolbox talks and pre-task planning.
• Collaborate with in-house teams to resolve issues and optimize work plans.
