Job summary

Delta Constructors is seeking an Electrical Field Engineer to act as a technical lead on industrial construction and fabrication projects in Alaska. You will oversee electrical, instrumentation, and fire & gas scopes, providing direct support to staff and craft personnel in the field.

Delta Constructors emphasizes safety, quality, and efficiency. This role includes deployments to the North Slope with potential irregular or rotational schedules and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years’ electrical field experience; Heavy industrial experience required.
• Alaska Electrical License preferred.
• Proven fluency with computers and ability to learn new software.

Responsibilities

• Become familiar with project specifications, drawings, and contract.
• Assist with project estimating using estimating software.
• Perform material takeoffs and scrubs.
• Prepare and manage wire and cable tag packages.
• Develop walkdown packages in preparation for system energization.
• Identify, engage and oversee subcontractors required for the project.
• Lead, advise, and assist the Quality Control and turnover process.
• Write RFIs and track responses, including submittal of change orders and Field Material Requests.
