Job summary

An opportunity exists for a Journeyman Electrician in Alaska's North Slope region. The role involves working on-site to install and maintain electrical systems in an industrial setting, requiring skills in reading schematics, electrical installations, and safety compliance. Candidates should possess a High School Diploma or GED and have at least one full year of relevant experience. Additional qualifications include the Alaska Journeyman's Fitness Card, and the ability to travel for construction projects. Accommodations are provided for employees in this rotational position.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent or ten years Journeyman electrician experience will be considered.
• Minimum one year related experience; previous North Slope experience preferred.
• Must be able to travel throughout Alaska for various construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Read construction drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Fabricate and install raceways, electrical panels, and cable supports.
• Install power distribution systems, lighting systems, and PLC wiring.
• Assist electrical apprentices and report all incidents to supervisor.
