Job summary
Jobot is seeking a detail-oriented Electrical Estimator to support preconstruction and proposal development for medium and high-voltage power delivery projects. Develop accurate cost estimates for substation construction, expansion, and modernization while collaborating with engineering, project management, and procurement to ensure competitive, technically sound bids.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related technical field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of estimating or project experience within power delivery, utilities, or heavy electrical construction.
- Experience estimating substation projects.
- Strong understanding of substation components such as transformers, breakers, bus systems, protection & control, grounding, and structural systems.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, one-lines, and construction specifications.
- Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Excel.
Responsibilities
- Develop accurate cost estimates for substation construction, expansion, and modernization projects.
- Work closely with engineering, project management, and procurement teams to ensure competitive and technically sound bids.
