Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator / Quantity Surveyor to support a major semiconductor facility project. You will prepare electrical cost estimates, take-offs, and manage commercial aspects of complex electrical building services and process utility installations.

The ideal candidate is driven, with strong communication skills and a track record in construction cost management for large projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Quantity Surveying/estimating in construction.
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts and procurement.
• RICS accreditation or working towards it is valuable.
• Experience supporting cost management on medium/large projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Advising client on strategies, evaluating tenders and bid documents, and making recommendations.
• Independently evaluate contractor and subcontractor tenders and prepare commercial recommendations.
• Review, validate, and negotiate variations and change orders.
• Provide side-by-side cost comparison and high-level change-order reviews.
• Manage and present estimates for complex change orders and benchmarking.
• Assist with change management in fast-track design and construction environments.
