Job summary

Control Air Enterprises LLC - San Diego Electrical Division is seeking an organized Electrical estimator with at least 5 years in the electrical industry. You will review ITBs, analyze drawings, and generate accurate estimates for commercial and industrial projects.

Applicants should have strong time management, communication skills, and experience with estimating software (ConEst preferred; Accubid and Bluebeam mentioned).

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the electrical industry.
• Proficiency with estimating software (ConEst preferred, Accubid, Bluebeam).
• Knowledge of NEC, CEC, and California Building Code standards.

Responsibilities

• Review ITBs to identify projects aligned with company capabilities.
• Analyze blueprints and drawings to prepare accurate time, material, and labor estimates.
• Prepare clear, competitive estimates and proposals for commercial and industrial projects.
• Solicit and evaluate quotes from suppliers, equipment vendors, and subcontractors.
• Coordinate with Project Managers for seamless handoffs and project execution.
• Develop conceptual estimates and value-engineering options to optimize costs.
