Job summary

Turner Construction Co. is seeking an experienced estimator to lead the electrical, technology, and low voltage estimating for large-scale projects in the Maryland region.

The role involves preparing detailed take-offs and cost analyses from design through construction documents, and working with project teams to finalize bids. Ideal candidates will have at least 8 years of experience in Electrical/Technology/Low Voltage estimating, strong communication skills, and a solid understanding of MEP

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or related field.
• 8+ years of related Electrical, Technology, and Low Voltage estimating experience.
• Strong knowledge of Electrical, Technology, and Low Voltage systems.
• Excellent communication and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead estimating for complex projects with MEP packages (e.g., $25M+).
• Prepare complete quantity take-offs, analyses, and estimates for Electrical/Technology/Low Voltage systems.
• Coordinate with vendors and trade partners for pricing and bid lists.
• Perform constructability analysis and communicate issues to the team.
• Prepare and assemble estimates for lump sum, GMP, or Cost Plus contracts.
• Support project hand-offs from Preconstruction to Operations.
