Job summary

Prime Electric seeks an experienced Electrical Estimator to lead the estimation process for large commercial, industrial, and health care projects. You will read plans, develop take-offs, and prepare detailed budgets while mentoring junior staff.

The role requires coordinating with project teams, applying value engineering, and using tools like BlueBeam, Accubid, and LiveCount to document budgets and scopes. In-person work is expected at our offices and sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 5–7 years estimating experience.
• Experience evaluating design/build contract work.
• Ability to train others on estimating procedures and software.

Responsibilities

• Produce precise electrical estimates for various project types.
• Lead Jr. Estimators, assign tasks and review work.
• Read and interpret civil, architectural, mechanical, and electrical plans and specs.
