Job summary

Hunt Electric Corporation seeks an Estimator 3/Sr. Estimator to lead electrical estimates for industrial and commercial projects, including healthcare and data centers. You will interpret complex drawings, prepare quotes, and coordinate with the Estimating Team to ensure accurate, timely bids.

The role requires 8+ years in electrical estimating, strong math and software skills, and the ability to mentor junior staff. Hybrid schedule and generous benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Two (2) year degree in related field or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of experience in electrical conceptual estimating and related areas.
• Proficiency with electrical estimating software (Accubid or Enterprise a plus).
• Strong math and Excel skills; proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Interpret design drawings and specifications from multiple disciplines.
• Prepare and lead bids and bid reviews with Estimating Team.
• Estimate labor, materials, and costs; create scope of work documents.
• Develop bid strategies with Business Development.
• Maintain detailed records of estimate revisions and supporting documents.
• Mentor and develop junior estimators and team members.
