Job summary

Jobot is seeking an Electrical Estimator with 10+ years of heavy industrial experience to join our team in the Buffalo area. You will evaluate drawings and specs to develop detailed cost estimates for materials, labor, and equipment, and ensure bids meet regulatory requirements.

Proficiency in Accubid and strong analytical skills are required, with relocation assistance provided. You will collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors, presenting estimates in bid meetings and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of electrical estimation experience in heavy industrial construction.
• Experience estimating projects around $50M+ with distribution centers or data centers.
• Proficiency with Accubid and standard estimation tools.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate electrical drawings and specs to provide accurate cost estimates for materials, labor, equipment, and subs.
• Ensure bids comply with regulations and depository rules.
• Develop and maintain project cost controls using Accubid.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to gather data for estimates.
• Present estimates in bid/proposal meetings and respond to questions.
