Job summary

StaffSource in Knoxville, TN is seeking a Senior Electrical Estimator to develop competitive and accurate estimates for commercial and industrial electrical construction projects.

You will analyze plans, perform quantity takeoffs, prepare bids with HeavyBid and Bluebeam, obtain pricing from suppliers, and align estimates with project budgets and schedules. Relocation assistance and a hybrid work arrangement are offered to support top candidates.

Qualifications

• Proven experience estimating electrical construction projects.
• Experience with commercial or industrial environments.
• Ability to interpret plans and specs.
• Complete detailed quantity takeoffs.
• Experience with HeavyBid or similar software.

Responsibilities

• Analyze plans, specs, drawings, and bid documents to determine electrical project requirements.
• Develop complete estimates covering materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
• Prepare detailed electrical takeoffs and ensure estimates reflect scope.
• Negotiate pricing with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Work with project managers to align estimates with budgets and schedules.
• Assist with reviewing contracts and identifying risks.
