Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Permanent Electrical Estimator to join our team in Colorado. You will prepare detailed, data‑driven estimates for high‑voltage substations and utility‑scale projects using established software tools.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with at least 5 years of estimation experience, and you’ll collaborate with PMs, engineers, and architects to ensure accurate pricing and scope alignment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical estimation, preferably in the construction industry.
• Proficient in Bluebeam, HeavyBid, or Accubid.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed and accurate electrical estimates for construction projects based on technical drawings and specifications.
• Analyze and compute data related to construction projects, such as material cost, labor cost, and timeframes.
• Utilize software such as Bluebeam, HeavyBid, or Accubid to create and modify electrical estimates.
• Evaluate and recommend electrical systems and products based on specifications, test data, and customer requirements.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects to understand the scope and requirements of the project.
• Review and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics for high‑voltage substations, electrical transmission lines & distribution, and utility‑scale projects.
