Job summary

Posillico Civil, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Electrical Estimator to support the estimating team for heavy civil electrical construction projects. You will analyze documents, develop detailed estimates, and assist with bid preparation for municipal and infrastructure work.

You will collaborate with project managers and operations to ensure timely bid submissions, contributing to multiple estimates yearly from small to large projects. Onsite role with comprehensive benefits and a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3–7 years in construction estimating with 2–4 years specifically in electrical estimating.
• Experience in heavy civil electrical construction and bid preparation.

Responsibilities

• Manage bid scheduling and coordination for electrical scopes on heavy civil projects.
• Review drawings, specs, addenda to determine complete electrical scope.
• Develop budgets and estimates including labor, materials, and subcontractor costs.
• Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits for condition evaluation.
• Prepare complete bid packages with pricing, clarifications, and exclusions.
• Lead bid-to-project handoff and communicate key assumptions.
• Support change orders and potential revenue opportunities.
• Coordinate inputs with PM, operations, engineering, purchasing, and vendors.
