Job summary

Morrow-Meadows Corporation in Poway, CA is seeking a Senior Estimator to lead electrical project estimates from bid prep to award. You will analyze drawings, prepare takeoffs, coordinate with clients and vendors, and mentor junior staff.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years experience in the electrical construction industry
• Estimating projects up to $15M in electrical value
• Strong electrical knowledge in commercial construction including low voltage systems
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and ACCUBID estimating system
• Customer focused with leadership and teamwork abilities
• Detail oriented and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team on selections of projects to pursue
• Interface with clients on bids and coordinate communications
• Build strong relationships with customers and attend industry functions when needed
• Support preconstruction and assist with business development and promotions
• Review contracts to reflect bid scope and exclusions
• Prepare and submit bid RFI’s and maintain logs
• Identify qualified suppliers and solicit quotes
• Prepare detailed proposals as required by clients
• Lead kickoff and handoff meetings and mentor junior staff
