Job summary

A technology consulting firm is seeking an experienced professional to support project management by developing and reviewing electrical project estimates and schedules. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of electrical estimating experience or a degree in Electrical Engineering. Key responsibilities include preparing various estimates, validating contractor bids, and performing cost analysis. Strong Microsoft Excel and analytical skills are essential. On-site work may be required occasionally in varying conditions.

Qualifications

• High School + 10+ years Electrical estimating experience, or Associate/Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering with relevant experience.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required.
• Experience with electrical systems and calculating labor/material costs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ROM, budgetary, unit pricing, and detailed estimates for electrical projects.
• Review design documents, scope packages, and contractor/engineering estimates.
• Validate quantities, change orders, and project costs.
• Perform cost analysis, risk assessment, and value engineering.
• Collaborate in a team/matrix structure and support multiple projects.
