Job summary

You will mentor junior estimators, manage quantity take-offs, and coordinate with project teams to ensure timely submissions, while contributing to process improvements and cost data management. This role requires 8+ years in electrical construction estimating, strong MS Office and estimating software, and a commitment to safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; architectural tech background preferred.
• 8+ years experience in electrical construction estimating.
• Experience with estimating software and ability to read construction documents.

Responsibilities

• Collect, calculate, and compile data for bid proposals, including labor, materials, and timelines.
• Independently prepare routine and complex electrical estimates.
• Review specifications and drawings; attend pre-bid meetings to determine full scope.
• Perform quantity take-offs and prepare complete estimates for various electrical projects.
• Design and calculate services, feeders, and branch circuits for design-build estimates.
• Present detailed estimate breakdown to Project Managers and leaders.
• Submit final bids with supporting documentation for review.
