Job summary

Linesight is seeking a Senior Estimator (Electrical) in Raleigh, NC to lead electrical estimate development for complex projects. You will collaborate with project teams, maintain cost databases, and contribute to a culture of rigorous cost control and client satisfaction.

This role rewards ownership, technical excellence, and strong communication. You will work with a diverse team, mentor others, and help shape project strategy. Interviews are in person or virtual with video.

Qualifications

• 10+ years as Estimator in construction with increasing scope.
• Experience using estimating systems such as Sage Timberline, InEight or CostX.
• Degree or comparable experience in a construction related discipline.
• RICS, CEP or CPE chartered or on path to completion.
• Excellent communicator verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Develop the estimate plan and coordinate estimate development with the project team.
• Lead the development of the total project estimate.
• Prepare the total Project Basis of Estimate and the Estimate Risk Analysis, with cost contingency recommendations.
• Analyze and make recommendations on solutions to problems with varying complexity in line with project objectives.
• Maintain a library of current local rates for use in all estimates.

The Opportunity

In this role you will:

• Develop the estimate plan and coordinate estimate development with the project team


• Lead the development of the total project estimate


• Prepare the total Project Basis of Estimate and the Estimate Risk Analysis, making cost contingency recommendations to the project team


• Analyze and make recommendations regarding solutions to problems with varying complexity in accordance with organization, project objectives and guidelines


• Maintain a library of current local rates for use in all estimates

• Have grown your experience as an Estimator over 10 years with increasing levels of scope and responsibility in a construction environment


• Have demonstrated experience using estimating systems such as Sage Timberline, InEight , or CostX


• Have a degree or comparable experience in a construction related discipline


• Are RICS , CEP or CPE chartered or are on the path to complete it . We can help !

• Are detail orientated and quality focused

All interviews are conducted either in person or virtually with video required.

Salary range for this role is between $108,000-$145,000 but actual salary offered is dependent on skillset, education and experience.
