Job summary

Tiello LLC in Covington is seeking a Senior Electrical Estimator to join a team focused on large commercial and light industrial projects. You will compile estimates by reviewing proposals, blueprints and specs, and price labor, materials, equipment, and time to determine overall project cost and duration.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of estimating experience with a reputable electrical contractor, plus Accubid/McCormick software experience and a background in commercial electrical work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related is a plus.
• 2+ years estimating projects for reputable Electrical Contractor.
• Accubid/McCormick software experience.

Responsibilities

• Review project plans, requirements, and specifications.
• Prepare accurate quantity takeoffs and material pricing.
• Propose value engineering options to reduce project cost.
• Determine costs of labor, material, and equipment.
• Push the evolution of the construction documents as necessary.
• Meet and maintain bidding and work schedules.
• Submit requisitions for the purchase of materials.
• Compare competitive specialist and material.

Salary: $90,000-$145,000 (Depending on Experience)

Project Types: Large Commercial and Light Industrial projects.

Tiello has partnered with a highly reputable Commercial Electrical Contractor in the Covington area on their search for an Estimator to focus on work in the Electrical sector, working in a team to put together estimates ranging in value up to $3-5M.

As a Senior Electrical Estimator, your main responsibility will be to compile estimates for the cost of work by gathering proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents. Included in this will be the estimation of labor, material, equipment, and time requirements in order to compute the overall cost and duration of the project

Key Responsibilities:

• Review project plans, requirements, and specifications
