Senior Electrical Estimator (Project Management)

What You'll Be Doing:

• Prepare electrical cost estimates to assist management in bidding and project pricing
• Analyze blueprints, drawings, and documentation for accurate estimates
• Review contract documents to determine scope of work and estimate requirements
• Calculate complete takeoffs of scope of work for discipline estimates
• Solicit and analyze quotes from vendors and subcontractors based on project needs
• Estimate projects accurately within deadlines, allowing for review and adjustments
• Maintain backup files of estimate data, including current prices from suppliers
• Review design options and recommend the most cost-effective and quality solutions
• Perform other duties as assigned

What We're Looking For:

• Associates degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school
• At least 2 years of estimating experience, preferably in construction
• Knowledge of estimating techniques, cost control, and interpreting computerized cost data
• Familiarity with Accubid Enterprise and LiveCount is preferred but not required
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines professionally
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to multitask effectively (e.g., using multiple screens, talking on the phone while navigating systems)
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, PDF, and PowerPoint
