Job Summary

Join our Menomonee Falls, WI team as a Senior Electrical Engineering Technician. This role supports our engineering efforts with the design, development, and modification of various electronics systems used on naval ships and submarines.

Job Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and diagnose malfunctions in existing products or systems and make modifications as needed
• Compile and evaluate design and test data
• Assist in the design, build, and procurement of new or improved machines, tools, fixtures, and material handling equipment, and coordinate the implementation
• Complete process documentation, bill of materials, route sheets, etc.
• Review project instructions and drawings to ascertain test specifications, procedures, objectives, test equipment, technical problems, and potential solutions, supporting the design for manufacture
• Devise, fabricate, and assemble new or modified electrical and mechanical components or assemblies for products
• Set up and conduct tests of units and components
• Analyze test results related to design and test objectives and adjust equipment to meet specifications
• Record test procedures, results, data, and recommendations for product or test method improvements
• Develop documentation to maintain equipment
• Assist in developing plant layouts, manufacturing methods, and process improvements
• Coordinate maintenance projects as needed
• Mentor and coach less experienced technicians

Education & Experience Requirements

• Associate's degree in engineering or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Technical expertise
• Customer service and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
