Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited institution.
• Substantial electrical engineering experience in utility-scale PV, BESS, or HV/substation.
• Experience leading engineers/teams in a design-build/EPC or similar environment.
• Knowledge of NEC, NESC, IEEE/ANSI, UL, NFPA; exposure to NERC expectations.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to travel periodically.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, and coach the electrical engineering team across HV/substation, protection & control, NERC compliance, and PV/BESS design.
• Staff and resource pursuits and projects to ensure leadership coverage for all scopes.
• Serve as senior technical decision-maker for overall electrical scope, standards, and major design changes.
• Maintain BOD frameworks and electrical standards aligned with Owner, EOR, utility, and NERC requirements.
• Oversee power system studies and NERC/IBR-driven analyses to drive design and construction decisions.
• Coordinate with multiple teams to ensure clear scope, interfaces, and handoffs.
