Hazen and Sawyer is seeking an Associate / Senior Associate - Electrical Engineer for our Los Angeles or Irvine, CA office. The role leads electrical design for water and wastewater facilities, mentoring staff and coordinating with clients and other engineers.

Ideal candidates have 12+ years of electrical engineering in heavy industrial settings, a B.S. in Electrical Engineering, and a PE license. The firm offers a hybrid schedule, rich growth opportunities, and a focus on all things water.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering required.
• Professional Engineering License required.
• Over 12 years of electrical engineering and design experience in water/wastewater or heavy industrial sectors.

Responsibilities

• Serve as lead electrical engineer on water/wastewater projects.
• Supervise less experienced staff and coordinate with clients and other disciplines.
• Engage in Business Development, prepare proposals, and may serve as Project Manager for select projects.
