E2 Consulting Engineers, LP seeks a Senior Engineer to lead the engineering and design of utility-scale Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects from development through construction support. You will direct power systems, interconnection studies, and multi-discipline coordination with civil, structural, and transmission teams, ensuring compliance with CAISO, WECC, and utility standards.

Bachelor's in EE, 7 12+ years in energy storage or renewables, PE license preferred, and experience with

Engineering & Design Leadership: lead the engineering and design of utility-scale BESS projects (10 MW to 500+ MW)
Power Systems & Interconnection: support interconnection processes and utility coordination; perform system studies
Multi-Discipline Coordination: coordinate with civil, structural, and transmission teams
Project Delivery: develop engineering packages, drawings, and reports; support procurement
Construction & Commissioning Support: assist in field engineering, review shop drawings, and energization activities
Client Interface: act as technical lead in client meetings and design reviews
Mentorship & Leadership: mentor junior engineers and contribute to internal standards and best practices
