Job summary

Instant Teams is looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join their Huntsville, AL team. This role involves performing hardware design tasks, collaborating with engineers, and contributing to the development of tactical robotic systems.

The ideal candidate should have strong skills in Altium Designer and extensive knowledge of electronic hardware and system design. The position offers a comprehensive benefits package and a dynamic work environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to create PCB stack ups optimized for power distribution and noise reduction.
• Experience developing custom Altium jobs, Draftsman fabrication, and assembly documents.
• Candidates with experience in UAV aircraft, robotics development, and/or hobby drones are highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform hardware design tasks such as schematic capture and layout.
• Work with the hardware team to develop trajectories for our hardware projects.
• Generate engineering-grade reports and perform part cost analysis.

Skills

Strong skills in Altium Designer

Extensive knowledge of electronic hardware and system design

Experience with high speed signaling

Knowledge of common communication buses

Education

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
