Role Description The Senior Electrical Engineer (TS/SCI) is a full-time, on-site role based in Palm Bay, FL. The person in this position will lead and perform complex electrical design for power systems and distribution in support of mission-critical projects. Daily responsibilities include developing and reviewing electrical schematics, specifying components, conducting load and fault analyses, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and applicable codes. The role involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, preparing technical documentation, supporting system integration and testing, and resolving engineering issues throughout the project lifecycle. The Senior Electrical Engineer will also mentor junior engineers, contribute to continuous improvement of design practices, and ensure secure handling of classified information consistent with TS/SC clearance requirements.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Electrical Engineering and Electricity, with the ability to apply advanced concepts to complex systems.
• Proficiency in Electrical Design, including schematics, layouts, and component selection for industrial or defense-related applications.
• Experience with Power Systems, including analysis, modeling, and reliability assessments for medium- and low-voltage systems.
• Knowledge of Power Distribution design, protection, and coordination, including circuit breakers, switchgear, and panelboards.
• Active TS/SCI security clearance or the ability to obtain and maintain one according to applicable regulations.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.
• Familiarity with relevant codes and standards (e.g., NEC, IEEE, MIL-STD) and applicable safety practices.
• Experience with CAD/CAE tools commonly used for electrical design and analysis.
• Ability to work on-site in Palm Bay, FL, collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, and communicate complex technical concepts clearly.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a track record of delivering high-quality engineering work.
