Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years of experience in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Active TS/SCI clearance required.
• Experience with high speed memory and network interfaces.
• Knowledge of high complexity digital design techniques.
• Experience operating signal generators, logic analyzers and digital oscilloscopes.

Responsibilities

• Design digital and mixed-signal CCAs (circuit card assemblies) and develop schematics and electrical documentation.
• Perform electrical analysis and develop high-speed interfaces and programmable logic solutions (FPGA, CPLD, DSP, processors, memory).
• Utilize industry-standard design tools for schematic capture, simulation, timing analysis, and constraint-driven layout.
• Collaborate with systems, mechanical, software/firmware, and manufacturing teams throughout full product lifecycle.
• Support meeting project cost, schedule, and technical objectives while delivering reliable, high-performance aerospace and defense systems.

A client in the aerospace and defense industry is seeking Electrical Engineers in Palm Bay, FL. In this role, you will support the design, development, integration, and testing of advanced electronic hardware systems for mission-critical applications. Responsibilities include designing digital and mixed-signal circuit card assemblies (CCAs), creating schematics and electrical documentation, performing electrical analysis, and developing high-speed interfaces and programmable logic solutions utilizing FPGA, CPLD, DSP, processor, and memory technologies. The ideal candidate will leverage industry-standard design tools for schematic capture, simulation, timing analysis, and constraint-driven layout while working independently to deliver innovative hardware solutions. This position collaborates closely with systems, mechanical, software, firmware, and manufacturing teams throughout the full product development lifecycle, from requirements and preliminary design through integration, testing, and customer reviews.
