Job summary

Garg Consulting Services, Inc. seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer (P.E.) to lead electrical design for transportation and infrastructure projects in Rocky Hill, CT or Princeton, NJ.

The role covers full project lifecycle from concept through construction and requires on-site work. The candidate should have a PE license, a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, and 10+ years of relevant experience, with expertise in power distribution, substations, traction power, grounding and lighting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
• 10+ years of electrical design experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform traction power & electrical system design.
• Prepare electrical scopes of work & cost proposals.
• Develop drawings, schematics, layouts & specifications.
• Perform system calculations, modeling & analysis.
• Select electrical equipment & coordinate with manufacturers.
• Prepare construction cost estimates & schedules.
• Support construction including review of submittals & RFIs.
• Attend site visits during design & construction phase.
• Participate in FAT / SAT, coordinate with utilities.
