You will manage power, lighting, and system design from concept through construction, mentoring junior engineers and coordinating with clients and agencies. The role requires a PE license, ABET-degree, and 10+ years of experience in power distribution, substations, and facility power.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from ABET-accredited program.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• 10+ years of electrical design experience.
• Experience with power distribution, substations, and facility power.
• Knowledge of NEC, NESC, NFPA, IEEE, UL codes.

Responsibilities

• Perform facility power, lighting, and electrical system design.
• Prepare electrical scopes of work and cost proposals.
• Develop drawings, schematics, layouts and specifications.
• Perform system calculations, modeling and analysis.
• Coordinate with manufacturers and utilities/regulatory agencies.
• Mentor junior engineers and present solutions to clients.
