Job summary

RTX in Huntsville, AL seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer to design, develop, and integrate test products within the Test Equipment Engineering Directorate. You will build both engineering and production test systems, manage project scope, and troubleshoot complex test issues on a multidisciplinary team.

Qualified candidates will have a STEM degree with 5+ years of experience or an advanced degree with 3+ years, and the ability to obtain DoD security clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM and a minimum of five years of experience OR an advanced degree with three years of experience.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required; U.S. citizenship is required.
• Experience with electrical engineering design including troubleshooting, analysis, and test.
• Experience with design tools including Altium, DX Designer, Mentor Capital, Creo Schematic.
• Experience with common test equipment (Oscilloscopes, DMMs, Network Analyzers, Power Meters).
• Experience using schematic capture tools and interpreting schematics.

Responsibilities

• Design, development, and integration of Raytheon test products within Test Equipment Engineering in multidisciplinary teams.
• Develop engineering and production test systems, interface adapters, cabling, schematics, and circuit design.
• Manage technical, cost, and schedule aspects of assigned projects and resolve issues in test products.
• Work independently or as part of a team to troubleshoot and implement test solutions.
