Job summary

CLMI Group, LLC in Los Angeles is seeking an Engineer IV – Electrical to support the BuildLACCD Sustainability Strike Team across planning, design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and closeout of energy-related capital projects.

The role delivers specialized electrical engineering expertise for bond-eligible initiatives within the Los Angeles Community College District, coordinating with PMO, CPTs, architects, engineers, consultants, and utility providers to meet project objectives and

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering required.
Current California PE license in Electrical Engineering required.
7+ years of professional electrical engineering experience in design, construction, or facilities infrastructure.

Responsibilities

Provide electrical engineering SME input for planning, design, procurement, construction, and commissioning across bond-eligible projects.
Perform technical assessments of electrical infrastructure, load studies, and capacity evaluations to support project scoping and design.
Develop SOWs and review technical requirements to ensure alignment with District standards and project objectives.
Coordinate with District personnel, CPTs, PMO, consultants, and utility providers regarding service capacity and constraints.
Support field visits, design reviews, and commissioning activities to verify technical compliance.
