Job summary

SGS Consulting seeks a hardware design engineer to review layouts, approve prototypes, and drive SoC, sensor, wireless, and interface development with cross‑functional teams.

You will lead rapid prototyping, ensure testability, and deliver clear specifications. A bachelor’s degree in engineering is required; strong EE fundamentals, high‑density board experience, and hands‑on lab skills are essential.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Review and approve plan layout, including new designs and modifications.
• Review and approve prototypes and models from simulations.
• Write detailed functional specifications and design tradeoffs.
• Support new technology introduction.
• Act as SME to engineers, evaluating hardware/software interfaces.
• Provide training and support to system designers and users.
• Design and develop hardware and peripherals, including SoC and ICs.
• Direct technicians and other support personnel as needed.
• Deliverables will be evaluated for hardware design, prototyping, and documentation.
