Job summary

DART Aerospace in the United States is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead the electrical design and integration of rotorcraft mission equipment. You will own architecture, interfaces, and installation concepts from concept through certification, production, and in-service support.

The role requires 8–12+ years in aerospace, strong leadership, and hands-on experience with power distribution, harness design, and airworthiness processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering
• 8–12+ years aerospace engineering experience
• Experience integrating mission equipment on civil or military aircraft
• Strong expertise in power distribution, protection, grounding
• Experience with wiring harness design and cable routing
• Proficiency with ECAD tools such as AutoCAD Electrical or SolidWorks Electrical
• Experience with certification and airworthiness processes

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design and integration of mission equipment on rotorcraft
• Develop electrical architectures and installation concepts to meet requirements
• Design and integrate power distribution, grounding, wiring harnesses, and connectors
• Perform load analyses, voltage drop, wire sizing, and protection selection
• Create schematics, wiring diagrams, and installation documentation
• Coordinate with systems, mechanical, avionics, software, and manufacturing teams
• Lead integration activities with EMI/EMC, lightning protection, and HIRF considerations
• Support lab and flight-test activities and qualification
• Investigate issues through root-cause analysis and corrective actions
• Support certification activities and supplier reviews
