Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking an Electrical Engineer to specify, design, and install data-collection devices for solid rocket motors. You’ll develop PCBs, firmware, and FPGA code, lead instrumentation installations, and oversee testing to ensure safety-critical performance data is captured accurately.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strong math/physics background, and collaboration with engineers to deliver reliable, test-ready electronics solutions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years designing, developing, and installing data-collection sensors.
• Familiarity with NI LabVIEW/DAQmx or other data acquisition systems.
• Strong analog signal conditioning and ADC knowledge.
• Understanding of computer‑controlled data acquisition and software.
• Ability to select sensors and place them to capture rocket motor metrics.
• Strong math/physics background and attention to detail.
• Good organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Office tools and CAD software.

Responsibilities

• Analyze existing equipment and design instrumentation to improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with engineers to develop safe, compliant equipment.
• Design and test prototypes, including PCBA and electrical components.
• Create schematics and models to verify designs within budget.
• Oversee installation and testing of measuring devices and control systems.
• Serve as project engineer for design, prototyping, and manufacturing development.
• Produce wiring diagrams interfacing to low voltage systems.
• Draft technical documents, reports, and testing results for approval.
• Provide training on devices to staff and customers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
