Job summary

Elev8 Recruitment is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer in the Bay Area to own electrical integration for a robotics platform. You’ll tackle power, motor, sensor, firmware and mechanical interactions from architecture through production, not just individual components.

You’ll design, debug and validate grounding, shielding, filtering, and PCB layout while collaborating with hardware, firmware and controls teams in a fast-paced, equity‑driven environment.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Robotics or Mechatronics.
• 5–12 years of electrical engineering experience.
• Experience with robotics, drones, EVs or motor-driven hardware.
• Ability to talk about personally designed and debugged hardware.

Responsibilities

• Own electrical integration across power, motors, sensors, firmware and mechanics.
• Lead system-level design from architecture to production.
• Tackle grounding, shielding, filtering, and PCB layout decisions.
• Work across hardware lifecycle: bring-up, debugging, validation.
• Collaborate with mechanical, firmware and controls teams.
