Job summary

Ultra is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer in NYC to own reliability, manufacturability, and cost of the electronics stack as we scale from 50 to 1000+ robots. You will lead design and component selection, work with contract manufacturers, and realize systematic BOM cost reductions while maintaining reliability.

You will debug advanced digital communications, drive rapid design loops, and ship improvements from lab to field. Travel to customer and supplier sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Shipping robotic hardware from prototype to production.
• Experience with high-reliability electronics in harsh environments.
• Ability to diagnose EMI/EMC issues and field failures.
