Job summary

Avery Dennison is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join the Hardware Development team in Miamisburg, OH. You will help develop portable and industrial thermal barcode printers, RFID, and wireless solutions while collaborating with product, manufacturing and marketing teams.

The role is on-site in Miamisburg, requiring project management, strong communication, and a hands-on approach to resolve complex design challenges for new products and enhancements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• 7+ years of engineering experience.
• Experience with RFID and wireless protocols preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design new products from concept to mass production while balancing multiple projects.
• Participate in architectural reviews and drive design reviews with cross-functional teams.
• Present design information and communicate with internal and external experts to achieve goals.
• Maintain awareness of industry advances and ensure compliance with standards.
• Provide technical support for existing product lines and address component obsolescence.
