Job summary

You will investigate analog, digital, and RF issues, diagnose at the component level, and drive corrective actions from prototype through production launches. The role emphasizes collaboration with design engineering, hands-on testing, and mentoring junior engineers, with opportunities to learn and grow in a fast-paced defense tech environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or higher with years of experience in electronic hardware.
• Graduate degree preferred for advanced roles and responsibilities.
• Extensive hands-on experience can substitute for a degree in some cases.

Responsibilities

• Monitor factory yields and investigate failures to determine corrective actions.
• Mitigate component shortages by qualifying alternatives or redesigning circuits.
• Improve design, process, and test to increase yields and quality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet DFx requirements for volume production.
• Work with other engineering teams on circuit changes for new products.
• Mitigate component obsolescence throughout the product lifecycle.
• Provide guidance to junior staff and lead investigations.
• Coordinate tasks and direct junior staff as required.
• Work with Quality and Supply Chain to address material discrepancies.
• Troubleshoot units, modules, and boards to the component level.
• Support digital and analog hardware designs.
• Analyze analog/digital/RF circuitry.
