Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer with an emphasis on fossil and hydro power. Experience with multi-discipline projects in these areas is required. Familiarity with utility processes such as Pacific Gas & Electric, Southern California Edison, or other power generating utilities is desirable. The role includes responsibilities such as designing and checking deliverables related to power projects, including single line diagrams, wiring diagrams, bills of materials, vendor drawings, and logic diagrams. The engineer will coordinate electrical work within a multidisciplinary team and ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet client expectations. Leadership in design reviews and effective communication at project meetings are essential.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited college/university
• 10-15 years of relevant experience
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required

Salary Range

$95,680 - $170,560

The compensation range is determined by various factors including education, experience, qualifications, internal equity, work location, and departmental resources.
