Job summary

JMT is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Lead to oversee electrical aspects of complex construction projects, including SCADA for facility and transit systems. You will manage design scope, calculations, drawings, specifications, testing, and commissioning with full project responsibility.

The role requires a minimum of ten years in construction or electrical engineering, with five years in SCADA and two in transit, plus OSHA 10.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• Ten years of construction or related electrical engineering experience with at least five years in SCADA design criteria and standards, including two years in transit.
• SCADA experience in heavy rail transit systems and AC Room Passenger stations.
• Experience with Autodesk software suite.
• Knowledgeable with Microsoft 365.
• Field experience.
• OSHA 10-hour Construction certification.

Responsibilities

• Maintain familiarity with plans, specs, schedules, PMP, and client requirements.
• Provide electrical engineering support to the project team.
• Provide expertise on statements of work, cost estimates, schedules, change requests, and commissioning.
• Coordinate engineering and implementation per plans and specs.
• Document and oversee processes to meet client and project requirements.
• Evaluate design and construction risks and propose alternatives.
• Assist in preparing final decision documentation for the COTR.
• Review contractor payment requests and internal project costs.
• Report project status to client stakeholders.
• Perform other duties as assigned by client and contract manager.
