CannonDesign in Denver seeks an experienced electrical engineer to join our multi-disciplinary team, focusing on building construction power, lighting, signaling, and communications systems for healthcare, education, and commercial clients.

The role requires a US PE license, 8+ years of related experience, LEED preferred, and strong knowledge of Life Safety Codes; proficient with Revit, AGI32, Visual, and SKM Power Tools for design and coordination.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years of related experience.
• Current PE in the United States required.
• LEED accreditation preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Life Safety Codes.
• Proficient in engineering design software.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical systems design for building construction.
• Lead project teamwork planning sessions and meetings.
• Design lighting, power distribution, signaling, and telecom systems.
• Prepare construction documents, drawings and specs.
• Complete quality control checks of engineering documents.
• Conduct site visits to verify conditions and progress.
