Job summary

Greenman-Pedersen, Inc. (GPI) seeks a Project Manager - Senior Electrical Engineer to join the Fairfax, VA office. The successful candidate will represent GPI in client and project team interactions, lead electrical design efforts, and help advance transportation and building system projects across the United States.

GPI emphasizes employee satisfaction and diversity as core values. The role requires a B.S. in Electrical Engineering, 10+ years in consulting, and supervisory experience in MEP.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Electrical engineering or similar from an accredited institution.
• 10+ years' experience working in the consulting industry.
• Experience working in the MEP Engineering Industry with 2+years of supervisory experience.
• Hands-on design experience using AutoCAD and REVIT.

Responsibilities

• Establish design standards, specifications, and criteria for projects
• Design building electrical distribution, fire alarm, and security systems
• Determine schedules and details required for the project and review them with the project team
• Ensure the flow of information between disciplines
• Prepare reports and feasibility studies
• Support developing electrical standards
• Prepare cost estimates and specifications
