Job summary

Spencer Ogden is seeking an senior Electrical Project Planner/Manager based in Chicago to lead electrical design efforts across a variety of building types. You will scope projects, estimate man-hours, budgets, and design criteria while coordinating with multiple departments and supervising engineers and technicians preparing contract documents.

Responsibilities include reviewing drawings in AutoCAD, Revit, or Microstation, ensuring QA/QC on delivered work, and supporting business development

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering; MS preferred.
• 10+ years of electrical design experience across office, commercial, education and industrial buildings.
• Experience with Microstation, AutoCAD, and Revit CAD tools.
• Strong communication, teamwork and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop project scoping, man-hours estimation, budgeting and design criteria.
• Coordinate with departments for multi-discipline projects.
• Supervise engineers and technicians preparing contract docs.
• Review drawings in AutoCAD, Revit, or Microstation.
• Conduct QA/QC on completed work.
