Job summary

RTX is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer- Production Support in Plano, TX, onsite at the cabin production design support area for the Advanced Airborne Sensor program. You will coordinate with manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and engineering to resolve production issues and ensure timely hardware readiness.

Responsibilities include evaluating hardware failures, leading root-cause investigations, interfacing with suppliers, and supporting program reviews.

Qualifications

• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
• 5+ years in production support/engineering roles
• Ability to obtain a DoD security clearance within 1 year

Responsibilities

• Evaluate hardware and disposition failing parts quickly
• Lead root-cause investigations and corrective actions
• Update program leadership on hardware failure status and repairs
• Coordinate with Supply Chain, Operations, Production Control for timely hardware flow
• Serve as technical contact with key suppliers for production program
• Support quarterly performance reviews with suppliers
• Travel up to 25% to facilities/vendors/customers
