Job summary

Net2Source (N2S) is seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer for power transformer design in Montgomery, AL. You will lead electrical design activities, perform calculations, and participate in customer design reviews while providing technical support.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, 10+ years of transformer design experience, and strong analytical skills. PE license is a plus and mentoring junior engineers is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering is required; a Master’s is preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in power transformer electrical design.
• Strong knowledge of design principles, calculations, and software.
• Experience in design reviews with utilities, consultants, and EPC customers.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design and technical reviews of power transformers.
• Perform transformer design calculations including impedance, losses, and cooling.
• Use design software to develop and optimize transformer designs.
• Participate in design review meetings with customers and utilities.
• Review specifications to ensure IEEE/ANSI/IEC compliance.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership.
